Hello Jason since God told me to listen to your music my life has never been the same. I was reading Johntenzen Franklin bk on fasting where he mentioned your name and said he listened to your music. The moment i saw your name something in me leaped and i knew it was the Holy Spirit. i then went on you tube and watched you sing. I absolutely LOVE # 10!!! I recently attended the RAMP in Hamilton, Alabama with my youth group and we went into the woods to a creek with about 1000 other teens and got baptized; it was humbling. The whole time people were getting baptized this song was playing over and over again- just this song. I never got tired of hearing it. It brought such a peace to my soul and I believe God intended for that. I will NEVER forget what happened in Alabama- it changed my life and my youth group's life. Everytime I hear this song, I get transported back to the creek when I felt God's presence all around me, falling on me, and His love so pure and sweet. I can't get enough!! I LOVE IT!!!!

I just listen to these "pieces" of the songs.. and I think that they are blessing all of us! Thank you from Brazil! God bless you!

I am 59 yrs. old and I love your worship and depth of intimacy. I am forming a flag and banner worship team and will use your music from your Dying Star CD for us to worship by. It was stolen out of my car while on vacation last month. I had to search the internet since it's out of print but I'm suppose to have one coming. It took me forever to remember it. I kept thinking Day Star and could not remember your name either. But finally Lion of Judah came to me mind and I tracked it down. I've adopted a baby boy from birth and he is talented and loves music. He is seven and still doesn't know he is adopted. Do you have any ideas how and when I should tell him. It's just me and him and he is so sensitive and I don't want to crush his spirit. As far as I'm concerned he is my son and I'm his mother, the other isn' t important. Was it to you?

Best worship ever. once you listen to jason, you never listen to anything else. It all sounds so "generated" and "forced" .Jason's for real. Thanks to the mercy and generosity of our Father, we have Jason Upton. Will be happy/thankful/glad/inspired/encouraged to hear another fine cd.

Finally!! Talent on loan from God! You know we used to think satan had dibs on all the good melodies. We used to hate hearing a song on the radio with a great melody and beat only to have trashy lyrics. So we'd force ourselves to listen to christian music with mediocre melodies that didn't nourish us. Honestly, it was depressing, personally. Finally, with your music we actually long to listen to it. We have a thirst for it, a hunger for God through it and an earnest desire to praise God through it. It nourishes us. We all actually wake up singing random songs by you and your group. God uses them to comfort us. Like waking up in the morning and the Holy Spirit sings "Your not alone" to us. How beautiful is that? We are so thankful for you. Don't know where we'd be with our walk with God without you. Thank you so much.

OK I left out "burning" and "Road to emmaus" in my post below so I am now officially DONE PICKING FAVORITE JASON UPTON AND THE GOODLAND BAND SONGS BECAUSE JUST WHEN I THINK i'VE FOUND ALL MY FAVES I FIND MORE. THEY ARE ALL endless and ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Just got done watching "Facing the giants" and wondered what it would've been like with your music in that movie. Have you thought of having your music in movies like that??? Is it already? It would have quadrupled the impact in my humble opinion. I'm a 40 year old father of a family of 6 including my wife. We do not idolize a man but do you have any clue how God has used you to strengthen our love for Him through your obedience and music?? We all can't wait to worship with you in NH and Mass. but will probably only make it on the 31st in NH. Wish we could get ya to come to maine and stir this whole state alive. You should know your schedule says something different than soulfest's schedule for the NH show so you may want to look into that cuz for folks like me...I'm only going there to worship with 'you', and well thank God for the other bands but....well they are great, but ....Well praise God for you and your band!!!

Well It is a pleasure to second many of the comments on here. Jason, my brother, and to your drummer and the rest of the band: Thank You for your dedication to the music ministry of our Lord. I have prayed for praise and worship music that was worthy of God's kingdom and now only recently have I found you. I can say I like the sing-along light songs but I believe your powerful and passionate live performances have totally allowed the Holy Spirit to elevate mine and many others relationship with Father. My faves are "Freedom" (Keepers of the flame version and "Whom the Son sets free version, but mostly keepers of the flame version), Dying star,Follow, Whistle in Your Will, Lion of Judah, I will never leave, Open up the earth-let your glory come down, Till the ground, Apple of His eye, Peace, Cloud by day, Not alone, All things are possible,One Step away, Better way, They will know we are christians by our love,generation, The cost of intimacy, key of David, come into the light, Nothings gunna hold me back, I don't have all the answers, wind and the waves, You are Holy, Shadow of Your wings, Simple things, and clouds and creeds. I think your home studio music would sound better (just my preference) with some reverb and echo added to it and that all your songs sound better live (sound quality wise).
I also ask you when you are playing songs like freedon, lion of judah to keep encouraging people who are physically able to, not to be afraid to dance and move more. I know Many do, but we will ALL BE DANCNG IN HEAVEN SO THEY WILL NEED TO LEARN NOW, as God wants the whole place, all who are able, to cry out for liberty and give Him glory through dance as you know. Chains and bondages fall off during dance and praise and worship and if some would step out in faith, raise their hands and dance more they would be freed. Remind them of 2 Samuel 6:14 and 2 Corinthians 3:17 and if they want more, they need to move more. God is with those who are Physically unable to do so, but those who are able, need to break loose.
At 4 mins. 44 seconds into the Lion of Judah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWpQ67J13 0g you start singing raise up an army repeatedly. As this builds the Spirit is wanting to do more than was done. It is here that you can command those who can dance to dance for the Lord, "Everyone, If you can physically do it, Move for our God!!! Dance for our God!! He wants our praise!!! Raise up an army, Raise up your hands, raise up an army!!!!" Remember the sword you were annointed with. This is permissible surgical cutting. Tell them they can release the stress of the past weeks warfare through dance and praise to our God. Then see if the Spirit lets the session build even more, lasting maybe 3-5 minutes longer giving more time for people to step out and be set free. "Step out and dance, and be set free"!!!
Finally I want you to know that my whole family of 6 hasn't even wanted to listen to any other musc other than yours for the last month since we found you. My sister-inlaw who was lukewarm and a fan of secular heavy metal has abandoned it all for your music not even wanting to listen to anything but you. All of your music is blessed of God and the songs I've listed are simply my faves and by no means take anything away from the rest. Everyone has different styles they are drawn to. I percieve however, that the church will be going through some tryng times soon and will need powerful, inspirational, melodically diverse, slow and fast praise and worship music to help us fight the good fight. Well right now my three year old is tugging on me to play the "Worship now ,Worship now song, :) and I am happy to oblige. See you in Gilford NH.

I Love the sound and the spirit behind all of Jason's music. I fell this may be one of his deepest albums yet. It's very eclectic, folksy and whimsical (a little like Rich Mullins/ Keith Green/Rita Springer and then some) but can carry you straight to the Throne Room of God. Jason your music has truly impacted my life, my worship leading and ministry in a profound way. I remember one day when I worked in the shipping receiving department of Family Christian Stores in 2001 and we received a pre-release of your "faith" album from Chordant Music Group. at first I thought it was very different but it grew on me very quick I started playing it when I was praying in my car and at my best friends prayer meetings when he heard the CD for the first time his eyes got as big as saucers we both said " this is some really deep worship" we did have a clue about "prophetic" or "spontaneous" worship music until you came along. After that I encouraged every believer in my church and my youth group that I volunteer for to pick up a copy of "Faith" needless to say that have purchased almost every CD you have released and have been to at least 2 or 3 live gatherings over the last 6 to 7 years. your music has went against the grain with modern CCM nothing against CCM but most of it lacks any spiritual depth and is often overproduced until the Holy Spirit is almost completely drained out (whats a wedding without the "New Wine".) I'll get off my soapbox and just shut up. Thank You for following the Lords leading and Blessing us with Music from the heart of our Father... Ephesians 3:20

It is my firm belief that the more you all release the greater the advancement of the Kingdom whether it be fun sing-along songs, intense moments, passionate crying out, humerous moments, words of wisdom, correction, rebuke, and truth, and messages/teachings! God blesses this ministry with Himself and somehow His presence fills your room, car, church, or wherever you might be stretching all and calling us all into relationship with the Father.

I believe this album's release is by Divine timing! We had the pleasure of worshiping with Jason and his band in Phenix City and it was one of the most incredible nights of worship we have ever experienced. Jason also shared wisdom and insight that my family will never forget. Thank you all for pressing through the narrow way and creating music that truly opens the door for us to enter into the presence of the living God. I often joke with my family that I believe Jason Upton will be the "elevator music" playing in heaven.
